Cultivate Vision is a Non-Profit Organization created to provide opportunities for the Youth in our communities. Our Organization is built around 6 Key Categories that I believe are the backbone of our cause: Leadership, Encouragement, Skill Set, Spirit, Heart, and Strength.

 

My Name is Jason Sykes. Founder of Cultivate Vision.

 

Throughout my career, I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet and learn from so many successful leaders in our Country. I have often asked myself this question. "If I only knew then what I know now, would I have turned out any different?" Well, the answer is yes! I know that without a doubt I would not have acted the way I did as a teenager, done some of the things I did, treated some of the people I knew badly, and I would not have made some of the bad choices that ultimately hurt myself and others.

 

So after pondering on this very thought three years ago I asked myself a second question, "If our Youth of today were to personally be given just a fraction of the Knowledge and Leadership skills I have been blessed to receive, what kind of effect would that have?" I am a Father of Three wonderful, talented, and incredible children. Over the years I have watched them laugh, learn, thrive, succeed, grow, and give! I have also watched them cry, suffer, struggle, fight, and hurt. So many of our children are hurting inside and we have no idea this is happening! With the introduction of social media, bullying is at an all-time high! The rate of teenage suicide in our Country is even higher! We must as Parents, Community Leaders, Friends, and Family members come together to give our Children and the Children of our Future the opportunity to have a safe place to go and thrive! A place where they can not only be free from bullying but build long-lasting friendships, learn a skill, uncover a hidden talent, and develop a talent they may have never known they had. This is why I decided to create this Organization.
